Andrew Wonjun Pae was born in Los Angeles on December 21, 1988.  He began his musical studies at the age of 5 and began playing the piano at the age of 6.  He graduated from Tenafly High School and received his Bachelor of Music Degree at The Juilliard School.  He is studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theatre in Leipzig, Germany.
Andrew’s extensive performing career over the years has taken him throughout the United States, Korea, England, Germany, and Switzerland.  His notable performances have included invitations by the Committee of the World Korean Forum, International Foundation of the Education and Performing Arts (IFEPA), Peninsula Committee for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Board, the Orange County Philharmonic Society, the Asia America Symphony Association, the Keiro Foundation, Kawaii Piano Corporation, the Yamaha Piano Corporation, the Crystal Cathedral Ministries, the Korean International Music Foundation, the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum.
Andrew made his orchestral debut with an invitation by the Korean Broadcasting System to perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.1 at the Seoul Arts Center with the Korea Symphony Orchestra.  He has also performed with the Asia America Youth Orchestra, the YMF Debut Orchestra, and the Aspen Concert Orchestra, working with conductors such as David Robertson and Frank Fetta.  Andrew was invited to perform at the Crystal Cathedral Ministries, during the “Hour of Power” sermon with Robert H. Schuller, which was broadcasted worldwide.  Other appearances include a solo performance in Harris Concert Hall at the Aspen Music Festival and School and the Walt Disney BP Hall.
He was a finalist at the Virginia Waring International Piano Competition and won grand prize at the Korea Times International Music Competition.  He has recently won the 2009 Aspen Music Festival and School Piano Concerto Competition and performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.2 at the Benedict Music Tent.
Andrew has attended the Aspen Music Festival as a scholarship student, studying with John Perry, John O’Conor, and Yoheved Kaplinsky.  He has also attended the Bowdoin Music Festival in Maine, International Klavier Summer Camp in Germany, and the Courchevel Music Festival in France.
Aside from piano, Andrew had been a member of the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, where he has performed in numerous Los Angeles Opera productions, such as Carmen, Billy Budd, La Boheme, and The Queen of Spades, with such artists as Placido Domingo and Jennifer Larmore.
Andrew has studied with Martin Canin, John Perry, and Anne Park Lee and is currently studying with Gerald Fauth.



Albert Wonjae Pae was born on March 5, 1991 in Los Angeles, California.  He began his musical studies at the age of 4 on the piano.  At the age of 11 he began to study the flute.  He graduated from Tenafly High School and the Juilliard Pre-College, and has attended The Juilliard School for his undergraduate studies.  He is continuing his undergraduate studies at The Royal College of Music.
Albert’s performing career over the years has taken him throughout the United States, Canada, and England.  His performances have included invitations from the Asia America Symphony Association and Guild, the International Foundation of Education and the Performing Arts (IFEPA), the Keiro Foundation, the Long Beach Symphony Association, the California Association of Professional Music Teachers, the Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra and Master Chorale, the Korean International Music Foundation, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Affiliates,  the Peninsula Committee for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Friends of the Cerritos Center, the New Jersey Music Teachers Association, the Music Teacher’s National Association, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the Korean-American Association of New Jersey, the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, and the National Flute Association.
Albert had made his New York orchestral debut with the Juilliard Pre-College Symphony performing Ibert's Flute Concerto under Maestro George Stelluto.
Albert has received many awards including those from the Music Teacher’s National Association, the Music Teacher’s Association of California, the Southwestern Youth Music Festival, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the New Jersey Music Teacher’s Association, and the Juilliard Pre-College.  He has been invited to participate in the 2nd Beijing Nicolet International Flute Competition (2010).
Albert has held principal seats in the Asia America Symphony Youth Orchestra, Juilliard Pre-College Chamber Orchestra, Symphony, and Orchestra, and was a member of the Juilliard Orchestra.
In the summer of 2004 Albert was chosen to attend William Bennett’s International Flute Master Class in England and also, in 2004 and from 2006 - 2010, he was chosen to attend Sir James Galway’s International Flute Master Class in Switzerland, receiving the Marc Rich Flute Scholarship in 2008.  In the summer of 2009 Albert was chosen to attend Centre d'Arts Orford to study with Robert Langevin.  In 2010 he attended the Académie Internationale d'Eté de Nice studying with Davide Formisano.
Albert's teachers have included Myung-So Chung, Dr. Bradley Garner, Robert Langevin, and Sir James Galway.  He is currently studying with Susan Milan.
In addition to being a flutist, Albert has also been a member of the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus, where he has performed in numerous Los Angeles Opera productions including La Boheme, The Queen of Spades, and Carmina Burana.  He has studied voice with Lorraine Nubar and Maitland Peters.  Aside from flute and singing, Albert has studied conducting with Maestro George Stelluto at The Juilliard School.
